Beauty against bullets, impenetrable of evil.
Beauty for lead, hope unchanged in the ineffable.
Personal responsibility, to thine own self be true.
Walk in beauty, hope perfected of absolute purity.

Beyond force, beauty escapes so very, very easily.
Mired in mass, hate loses again…, and again,
left behind, forgotten, “reality” no more.

Writing from the hip, it was only after sixty-three poems that I was shown the bloggetry itself had defined me as planetary poet laureate (of the End Time). It had not crossed my mind even once before. *wan sigh*
