[Inspired by “The Day After”+ (1983)]
I know… and I’ve known for a very long time.
But you’ve got it now, like it or not. I’m so sorry.

Here we go. - Silos empty while wide-spread panic ensues.
Launch plumes signal megadeath far beyond Hiroshima, Nagasaki.
Now what do you do? - Enthrall of entertainment’s throttle dead.
We know what’s next. - You switch channels one more time,
nothing, while missles fly crossing paths beyond destruction.
It’s too late, but you refuse alerts’ cries.
Watch now, while sky brightens far beyond Sol’s brilliance…

Autobiographical, poetic commentary emphasizing compassion,
ones search for truth &
that which cannot be found except from within…
Consider well the altruism found here (to the great chagrin of 'detractors').
