You've been warned. It won't be villains bursting in,
but will come from within your own mind in what

I know is there you've never acknowledged,
not even unconsciously. I know these places,
and I can play them out beyond utter horror
you'll not live the day in the bearing.

you silently hoped you'd never know
somewhere beyond your reach way,
way deep inside you've never known of.

Brief foray

Below Sol, foray in silence of this distant place,
home another place deeply longed,... far away.
“No love without freedom” within ringing so true,
silence all I've found here, heart alone.

“No freedom without love,” so true, lost,
lost here in this dark, backwater place
in one galaxy among trillions directionless.
I stand in my usual silence, nothing heard.

Nothing heard here, so I wonder why.
In this utter silence I’ve found so deep,
I should hear something. Are you there?
I still listen, from depths of silence bright.

None look this way, deep within, lost, hopeless,
though I stand so close, breath to breath,
eye to eye, speaking in silence still unheard
by anyone I momentarily stood with, blank,

unknowing of what lies so close,... so close...

Fame, infamy, at once. Which wave will I ride…
Waves crash upon shores, but not this one,
jaded, tripping darkness into light unending,
hanging ten beyond pioneered edges of infinity.

Finally, madness, just in time, this time,
not one more time, this time..., this time.
Sardony watching me leave, weeps
as I launch off this wave for vistas,

vistas far beyond all ramparts of Sol,
her mountains watching after me, longing…

Promontory

To its knife edge one more time, tears awash,
nearing its point at the chasm before me,
I look down, swing out and leap into heavy air.
One more way to fall, waiting down as a feather.

This leap never like before in the calm aforetime,
when air heavy buoyed me down, unafraid, prepared.
Precipice steep down, swings back up anear, expected.
Calm rules behind in chiasma’s crossroad of knowing.

Listen close, you’ll hear it in utter quiet within.
You don't need to help me. - Within not so daunting,
your place, a place you've yet to venture toward.
“I will go down with this ship,” no surrender.

I go where I know, but the amber’s not over yet.
